Meet Tuah, the Guardian

Huh? You might ask. Well, remember that game i blogged about waaay back last year, Hellgate London?... the one that I bought even before I have my own computer? Well, at last I am on my journey battling hells minions that bedevil poor ol' London.

As my first adventure unto this post apocalyptic city, I chose the Guardian charachter from the Templar class. The Templar faction is an underground society leftover from the original Knights Templar. They combine futuristic technology with magic and ancient artifacts to create armor and weapons for melee and short-ranged combat. Templar classes are the only classes able to wield melee weapons, shields and use self-affecting auras, but have a limited ranged weapon selection.

And why do i choose the name 'Tuah' for my alter-ego? It is more to honour our own Malaysian hero, whose bravery and loyalty has become legendary. I thought it would be quite fitting.

So from time to time, I will chronicle our heroes adventures, showing you what has become of this great city, its survivors and the monsters that lurk around every corner.

So onward march! REMEMBER THE DEAD! FIGHT FOR THE LIVING!

More on my baby

Since im still in the highlight menghilighting mode (jangan mare guys, hehehe...), here are some more pics of my beloved new baby. So far the experiance using my new lappy has been great. No hiccups in accessing the features and evrything's smooth sailing on the OS and software side. I especially luurve the touch sensitive media control panel and the satisfying click response while typing. If there's any slight, is the fact that this model doesnt come with a fingerprint scanner. But since i forsee that my lappy will rarely see the outside world, thats a feature i could easily give a miss... the luxurious Thrive imprit casing

Introducing my new baby

Finally! After almost 9 months of wanting...wishing...waiting... (I like to keep you in a trance, hehe;), I finally took the plunge and delved into the mobile digital realm, Introducing my newbaby: the HP Pavillion dv6774TX SPECIAL EDITION "THRIVE". It was definately worth the wait: not only is this a limited edition notebook (must highlight that part), it came with a promotional rebate exclusive during the PC fair, plus a bagfull of freebies, including optical mouse, headphone, digital remote control and 2G thumbdrive. This is most definately a good deal. Enough about bragging rights, more pics later cuz I'm busy surfin'!

Anugerah Industri Muzik 2008

The biggest night in the Malaysian enternainment is upon us! Our equivalent to the Grammies, the AIM recognises outstanding achievement in the recording industry. The grand event will take place on 3 May 2008 at Putra World Trade Centre. In the meantime, DIESELFREAK glances into the mystic crystal ball and came out with his predictions for the night.

pss: To those planning to vacay at Langkawi, a word of advice. Under any circumstance, NEVER EVER dine and Restoran Haji Jelani at Chenang Beach. The food sucks and the service is slow and rude! From the wise words of an unfortunate friend, "There are two rules to business... 1) The customer is always right. 2) Follow the first rule!" Sabar jer lah dear...
