Diesel participated in the Milan Menswear Fashion Week Spring Summer 2010 held on June 21, 2009 by previewing a small line up of denim, gray and black tailored slim fit pieces, along with graphic t-shirts for their Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
Instead of the normal runway and catwalk presentation, Diesel came up with an interesting art gallery cum museum concept. The audience would peruse and inspect the posing models feigning nonchalance as well as the clothing items that are ‘tastefully’ strewn out on the floor, in ransacked luggage cases, on a burned out upholstery and even in the shotgun seat of a wrecked out car. Talk about high-end junk house hehe…
This is not the first time Diesel turned the tables when introducing a collection,When in first presented its now defunct DieselStyleLab range in 1997, the audience was made to walk the catwalk themselves , with models inspecting THEM as the passed by!
