After almost half a year since I purchased my flight tickets, the big getaway weekend had finally arrived. Yes, i have been to บางกอก numerous times. And although with each visit the mystique of this grand city has been dented somewhat due to increasing familiarity on my part, there are still pockets of surprises to be found.
Here are some random pics from the trip
Touchdown 10.45pm. Arrive hotel 11.50pm. Getting ready for a big night out 12.20am!
I would categorically say that this statement is NOT an exaggeration. Plus there's a sale going on. Pure heaven!
An Arab street could only mean one thing: Halal food
Getting measured up for a custom made shirt at only 600B!
All pumped up and ready for some serious bargain hunting, hehe…
Meandering the tight alleyways of Chatuchak Weekend Market
All aboard the tuk-tuk
The delicious Cili Padi Restaurant whetting a very patriotic appetite. We are eating for Malaysia!
PPC at Central World Plaza
All good things must come to an end. Waiting for the flight home :(
All in all it was a great trip and definitely an escape from the tedium off the office. Looking forward to another quick getaway in a couple of weeks. This time, I'm heading off to our neighbour down south, hehe…
